Aadhar Card / How to Add Your Mobile Number to the Aadhar Card

Aadhar Card:It is mandatory to have a mobile phone number linked to your Aadhar. The reason you must add your mobile phone number to Aadhar is because all secure online authentication is done through OTP that is sent to the number registered with your Aadhar card.

Updating your demographic data on your Aadhar card is quite simple if your mobile phone number was declared at the time of registration. The process can be completed online in such cases.

However, if you did not declare your mobile phone number at the time of registration or if your mobile phone number has changed, you will not be able to add your mobile phone number through the SSUP (Self-Service Update Portal) portal.

In such cases, this is what you can do.
