5 Easy Steps to Download Your E-Aadhar Card Online
E-Aadhar card is an electronic form of your Aadhar card. This means that you can use your E-Aadhar for various government checks. Like the Aadhar card, the E-Aadhar contains all the necessary information, such as your Biometric data, demographic details, Aadhar number, photography and general information, including name, date of birth and sex. To use your E-Aadhar, you must download it.Download Aadhar Card by Aadhar Number
Step 1. Keep your Aadhar card or your Enrolment number ready
If you do not have your Aadhar: Keep your Enrolment number ready along with the time and date provided on the confirmation receipt.
If you have your Aadhar number: Have your Aadhar number on hand.
Step 2. Visit the Uidai Website
Log in to the official UIDAI website, https://uidai.gov.in/ and see the section entitled Aadhar Online Services. One of the menu options below this will be "Download Aadhar". Click here and enter all the necessary details accurately. This includes the following:
- Enrolment ID / Aadhar Number / VID
- Full name
- Pin code
- Security code
Step 3. TOTP / OTP Application
Once this is completed, you will go to the section where you must enter a TOTP. If you do not have it, click on "Request OTP".
Step 4. Enter OTP
You will receive an OTP in a few seconds. Enter the same in the field provided.
Step 5. Download the E-Aadhar PDF
To open the E-Aadhar PDF file, you must enter a password. Your password will be the first four letters of your name along with your year of birth. Make sure the letters of your name are entered in uppercase. For example, if your name is THOMAS and your year of birth is 1989, your password will be THOM1989.
That is all you need to do to download your E-Aadhar.
