What is the mAadhaar Application?
The mAadhaar application is the official Aadhaar application launched by UIDAI to provide a platform for Aadhaar holders to carry their demographic data and photograph them on their smartphones. An Aadhaar cardholder can add their profile in the application and access it whenever and wherever they want. A total of three Aadhaar profiles can be created in the application. The application is well protected by the security password that the user must enter to open the application each time. This guarantees that no one but the user accesses the Aadhaar data present in the application.
mAadhaar Compatibility
- As of now, mAadhaar can be installed on all smartphones that run Android 5.0 and higher.
- UIDAI has not released the iOS variant of the mAadhaar application.
- He is currently working on the errors and will launch the application for iPhone users in the near future.
- mAadhaar can be installed on all Android phones, however, only that profile can be added in the application that is linked to the mobile phone number used in the phone.
- If your mobile phone number is not registered in Aadhaar or if you have a mobile phone number registered in Aadhaar that is different from the one being used on the mobile device, you cannot take advantage of the installation of mAadhaar.
